If you're having a larger destination wedding or you're hiring me to travel to your normal wedding outside of the midwest, you may want a second shooter. I am very confident in being able to shoot weddings on my own, but they can be super helpful to have. They can help me with the following:
  •  being another set of eyes and ears to capture more candid photos if you have a larger guest list
  •  photograph one side of the wedding party getting ready while I'm with the other if you're going to be in two separate places
  •  take more detail shots than I would normally be able to get because I'm busy taking the crucial photographs of the day
  • get multiple angles of events happening throughout the day (like a first look and ceremony)

Engagement session - $450

You may be thinking that you don't want or need engagement photos, but I hope I can change your mind here. Would you believe me if I told you that your photographer is one of the people you'll spend the most time with on your wedding day (even more than your future spouse!?)? It's true! That's why it's so important to me that we meet up and make sure we'll work well together! You can use the photos for social media announcements, save-the-dates, invitations/RSVPS, decorations, and more! It's a great way for us to get to know each other, but also for you to get used to being in front of the camera. It's common for an engagement session to be the first time a couple has ever had professional photos taken. If you were part of a family that had photos taken for every occasion imaginable and you're already comfortable in front of the camera, no problem, we can just get some coffee  or video chat sometime instead! Travel fees are NOT included in this session.

Here's what an engagement  session with me will include:
  • 1-2 hour shoot - in a location of your choice (I have plenty of suggestions if you need em)
  • Unlimited outfit swaps
  • Fully edited high-resolution images + print store access
  • Online gallery
  • Tons of fun and laughs :)
This shoot can be whatever you want it to be! I most often have couples tack this onto their package so we can do an additional wedding photoshoot at the elopement/wedding destination before or after the event date. This allows us to get photos in more epic locations than just the one you choose for your ceremony/vow readings!

Here's what an adventure session with me will include

Some wedding days are spread out more than others, and you may need another hour to capture more of the getting-ready portion of your day. Maybe you decided to go out for brunch with your party before getting ready and want some of that captured. I'll be there for it all!
These are designed and handcrafted by a team out of Ukraine. They are high quality and BEAUTIFUL. I have been working with this company for two years now and have never been let down by their products or customer service. 
  • You'll receive all of your edited images on a custom engraved USB

These albums are high quality, handmade, and fully customizable to your liking. This is the album that you'll grab off the shelf to show your kids and grandkids one day, if you choose to have them! You'll be able to flip through this album for years and years to come. I take pleasure in creating albums for my clients so you won't even have to think about it! Here's the process:
  • We'll have a meeting, either in person or over video chat, to go over all of the customizations before your wedding. You can select the size, shape, number of spreads, cover material. cover design/debossing, end sheet color/design. You'll also want to decide if you want an album display box, case, slip cover, or dust jacket.
  • After your wedding, you'll create a favorites list within the online gallery I'll have sent you and I'll start the design process using those photos. 
  • Once I've completed the design, we'll review it together so I can make any necessary changes before submitting the design to the company.
  • Once I have received the album and have looked through it to make sure there are no mistakes, I'll have it sent right to you with tlc.

You can choose between linen, velvet, or eco-leather covers. There are real leather options, but I am vegan so I prefer to stay away from them and I would strongly suggest you do the same. The eco-leather option is an amazing alternative! Each material comes in SO many colors. Just select your color and debossing of your choice!

THE BEST PART. This is my personal fav, of course. Now that we know each other and have planned out what photos you want, we get to have lots of fun on the day of. I'm there to take as much off your plate as possible so you don't have to worry about anything other than enjoying your elopement day. You won't have to worry about the timeline or missing photos, because I've got you covered. If you've decided on a second photographer, you're DOUBLE covered :)

As an elopement photographer, a big part of my job is location scouting and planning for my couples. I love to travel and I know how to find the best locations and the most fun  and adventurous activities to do in those locations. I can also help connect you with other vendors in the area you're planning to get married.  What I love to do is create mood boards with each of my couples, and work off of that!

Location Scouting + timeline planning

If you've decided to add an engagement session to your elopement package, I recommend scheduling engagement sessions at least six months before your wedding date, but I've done them anywhere from 2 years before the wedding to 2 weeks before. It all depends on what stage of wedding planning you're in and there is no right or wrong way to go about engagement photos. We'll chat about locations and ideas and come up with a game plan from there!

Engagement session

Once we've had our call/meeting, I'll send over a contract and invoice for you to review. No pressure here, It's just there for you to look through. I'm available at anytime for any questions, so don't hesitate to reach out at this time. Once you've made the decision to move forward with booking, all you have to do is fill out, sign, and submit the contract and pay a deposit to hold your date After that, we get to start planning the fun stuff!

I'll send over a link to schedule a phone or video chat with me in an email or text, and you'll be able to choose any day and time that works best for you within my available hours. Once we hop on the call, we can chat about anything and everything you want! I'll answer any questions you may have about photography and I'll ask you some questions to get to know you a little and see if I'd be a good fit for your wedding day. Think of this as "speed dating" your photographer. If you'd like to try and meet up in person for coffee or lunch, I'm happy to try and make that work as well!
