You've got questions, I've got answers!

This depends on what you have going on during your wedding, how many guests you have, and how many hours you have me there! I've shot some weddings where the couple did not want any family photos, they weren't doing a cake cutting or first dances, and didn't want many candid photos, so they didn't have as much for me to photograph. I'd say on average, I deliver 600-800 photos. Sometimes more, sometimes less. 

How many photos will we receive? 

This really depends! If you and your partner are getting ready in separate locations, have a larger guest count, have a large venue, and/or want lots of candid photos, then I highly recommend a second photographer. This is something we should also discuss over a phone call because every wedding is different! :)

Should I get a second photographer?

This depends on the time of year for me. Fall is the busiest time for me, so you can expect to get your photos anywhere from 6-8 weeks from your wedding day. Any other time of the year, you can expect them from 4-6 weeks. This varies year by year and I will always do my best to get your photos back as quick as I can, but I want to make sure they're perfect before sending them to you.

When can we expect to get our photos back?

I am based in both Central Alabama and West Michigan! I travel all over the US and internationally for weddings. Any travel fees will be included in your package!

Will you photoshop my body?

Unfortunately, things happen. If for some reason, you need to cancel your wedding or photoshoot,  the retainer is non-refundable. This helps to protect my business due to turning away any other bookings for your date and covers the time I spend researching, emailing, and learning before your scheduled wedding/photoshoot. 

No, I will only edit out temporary things, like acne, bruises, and cuts/scrapes. If there are specific things like scars/birthmarks that you would like me to remove, please let me know ahead of time. I will never assume someone will want those removed, so you must inform me beforehand.

Do you offer photo albums?

Yes! I offer beautiful handcrafted lay-flat albums that are completely customizable. I absolutely love these albums and the company that creates them. You can find more information about my photo albums here. If you'd like to see and look through one of these albums, we can meet up for coffee and I can bring a studio sample book and cover material/color swatches for you to look through!

Do you deliver unedited photos?

Nope! Unedited photos are not a complete representation of my work, so I do not deliver those. You will receive all the edited photos that I deem worthy of being in the final gallery. 

Do you offer payment plans?

I sure do! I will still need a retainer up front, but the rest of the balance can be split into weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or bi-monthly payments up to four months after your wedding. You will receive a handful of photos in a sneak peek gallery, but you will not receive your completed gallery until the full balance has been paid off. 

Do you photograph LGBTQIA+ WEDDINGS?

A million times YESS!!! LGBTQIA+, no matter how you identify and regardless of how you define your relationship, I'd love to be a part of your wedding day. Love is love and I'm 100% here for it!

Can I bring my dog/cat/goat/other pet to the photoshoot?

Um... honestly I'll be really sad if you DON'T. Please do! I'd love to meet your fur babies :)
